A volume of verse from this Indiana-born poet who dedicates the work to her father. This appears to be the author's only work. Light rubbing to cloth, very shallow grazing to page edges, a VG copy.

Barley, Royston, Herts: Published by the author, 1950. A private and confidential discussion document written and circulated by the Anglican priest Dr. James Parkes (1896-1981), in which justification for Zionism and Israeli statehood is based on the "exceptional" status of Jews at the beginning of the 20th century. Parkes, who authored over 400 works on Jews, anti-Semitism, Jewish-Christian relations, and Israel/Palestine, donated his vast library to the University of Southampton in 1964. The Parkes Institute is now an academic research center and one of the largest Jewish documentation centers in Europe. Side-stapled 13" x 8" leaves mimeographed from typescript, 26 p. Some toning, center crease from folding. Not found in WorldCat, although a copy is found in Parkes' papers at the Institute.

Chicago: Charles H. Kerr & Company, Publishers, 1898. First edition. Stapled, grey wrappers letterpressed in black, 16 pp. An uncommon Kerr title authored by the professor and social reformer, Frank Parsons, who argues that humankind's development in the eighteenth century was material, in the nineteenth intellectual, and that in the twentieth it will be spiritual. The success of this development will be in discovering "how to make everybody comfortable, well off, intelligent and virtuous." Some sunning to wrapper edges, one small grease spot to the rear wrapper bottom edge, but Near Fine. Only two copies located in WorldCat institutions (NYU & Univ. of Wisconsin).

New York: Class War, 1972. An 8 ½" x 14" flyer mimeographed on both sides. Horizontal crease from folding; printing error obscures a few words to verso. Near Fine. No record for this flyer in WorldCat. Hardline Marxist-Leninist-Maoist perspective on boycotting bourgeois elections and staying the course on the revolutionary path of struggle. Condemns the revisionists who are puppets for the ruling class and who are misled by the "illusion of revolution through reform." Issued by Class War, the publication of the Marxist-Leninist Party, which combined "The Communist" and the Red Women's Detachment paper, "Red Star." The quintessence of New Communist Movement rigidity and sectarianism.

[New York: Marxist-Leninist Party], 1971. First edition. Three corner-stapled 8 ½" x 14" mimeographed sheets folded, 6 pp. Some offsetting to rear sheet, else VG+. No record for this document found in WorldCat. The first draft of the MLP's program was initially published in the inaugural issue of its organ, "The Communist" (Winter 1970). This second draft greatly expands the Party's ten-point platform providing key theoretical insight into one of the many New Communist Movement groups operating at the beginning of the 1970s. The Party's slightly ambitious purpose is defined in point one where it commits to "wage class war, defeat modern revisionism, overthrow U.S. imperialism in armed revolution, and establish the Dictatorship of the Proletariat." Bound in half navy blue morocco and half marbled paper; marbled page edges; xix, 327 pp. An unattributed satirical work by the American writer and Secretary of the U.S. Navy, James Kirke Paulding (1778-1860). Paulding was a friend and collaborator of Washington Irving's and was associated with the "Knickerbocker Group." In this work, he caricatures the class of British travel writers known themselves for caricaturing American society to their readers back in England. A Very Good copy with some rubbing to binding and paper loss to board edges.

Yellow cloth with red titling to spine; xiv, 146 pp. Some spotting and foxing to cloth, as well as faintly to endpapers; owner's name to front pastedown and title page, else clean throughout. Very Good, lacking the dust jacket. Peers' book, with its unapologetic Nationalist bias, was "written originally for an American public [in order] to show those who know very little about Spain what a power she has been, not only in battle, conquest and colonization, but in the domains of the mind, and most of all, in the sphere of spiritual activity.

Asheville, N.C.: Pelley Publishers, [193-]. A leaflet featuring a caricatured Jew and advertising a William Dudley Pelley booklet compiling excerpts from "82 of the foremost leaders of Jewry...[who] have not only confessed but bragged about the existence of a racial plot to subjugate or ruin the world's Gentiles." Verso includes disparaging quotes about Jews allegedly made by Jesus Christ, Martin Luther, Frederick the Great and Gen. Ulysses S. Grant. Printed in black on both sides of an 8 ½" x 3 ¾" sheet of yellow stock, illustration. Some grazing along the edges.

Fourth edition. Square octavo (24.5 x 20 cm). String-bound onion skin dust wrapper over red-printed wrappers; 65 pp.; two leaves of chromolithographs; photographic plates. A somewhat confounding title from the food faddist and inventor of shreeded wheat, Henry D. Perky. Includes 254 recipes with most including shredded wheat in some variety, a sample menu from Perky's New Era Cooking School in Worcester, MA, and chromolithographs of sample dishes. Perky follows this with an anti-war treatise and the opinions of fifty great men on war, along with photographs of naval ships and their respective crews. Soiling to slightly chipped dust wrapper; wrappers browned with some grazing and loss to one corner of front wrapper; chipping to fore-edge of rear wrapper; a Good+ copy. We haven't seen another copy with the onion skin dust wrapper.

Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company, 1890. First edition. Square octavo (21 x 16 cm); 149 pp. folding facsimile letter. Blue pebbled cloth ruled in black and titled in gilt. A trifle rubbing at the extremities, a Near Fine copy. This is an intimate account of a small Methodist church in Philadelphia, originally a part of St. George's. Certainly the nicest copy we've come across.

New York: New Century Publishers, 1952. A pamphlet by the black Communist leader on Negro suffrage as part of the broader struggle for Negro equality. With an introduction by Betty Gannett and an illustration of Perry by Ed Strickland. Stapled wrappers (7 " x 5 ½"), 24 p. Light wear, Near Fine.

Black cloth illustrated in red with blind-stamped titling to front board; 224 pp. First published in Germany in 1918, Perutz's novel is one of suspenseful Expressionism and follows the penurious student, Stanislaus Demba, around Vienna as he tries to evade the police. A Near Fine copy; ffep corner clipped; in the scarce, fragile dust jacket, which is rubbed and worn and with chipping to spine ends; Good.

Strawberry Plains, TN: Native American Indian Media Corporation, 1987. The third and final issue of this Native American newspaper published in Tennessee. The paper was founded in 1986 by Dr. Macaki Peshewa, an Air Force veteran, who co-founded the Tennessee Indian Council, founded the Indian Historical Society, Native American Indian Media, The Systems Theory and Human Development Corp., and established the Native American Church of Strawberry Plains, of which he was the priest. Highlights for this issue includes an article/interview with Wallace Black Elk, the grandson of famed Oglala Sioux holy man, Black Elk; an educational supplement called Studies! featuring various aspects of Native American history; with many shorter news items on contemporary Native American projects and struggles. Tabloid format, the cover sheet printed on higher quality paper, 24 p. Fold, some toning.

New York: National Executive Committee, Socialist Labor Party [of America], 1921. First edition. 18.5 x 13 cm; 16 pp. Saddle-stapled light green wrappers printed in black. A Near Fine copy with some slight browning to wrapper edges. You're unlikely to find a copy so well-preserved in your pinko commie uncle's attic. Scarce. No other copies for sale in commerce (2014) and OCLC locates only six institutional holdings. Post-De Leon propaganda from the SLP encouraging railway workers to embrace socialism and thus "extricate themselves from the vicious circle of capitalist chicanery, growing out of capitalist exploitation.

Reedy, West Virginia: Liberty Bell Publications, 1977. A separate edition of an article originally appearing in the June 1977 issue of the white power magazine, The Liberty Bell, and according to the editor's note, "the complete and unabridged rendition of the author's manuscript." Peterson compares forced racial integration in the U.S. to Portugal during the 16th century when Jews orchestrated interracial mixing leading to the collapse of Portugal as an empire. Peterson claims that the Portuguese blamed the Jews for their collapse leading to a rise in anti-Semitism and that the same will happen in the U.S. when people wake up to the reality of race-mixing and who's behind it. The last leaf includes an advert for Arthur Butz's controversial The Hoax of the Twentieth Century, which was distributed by Liberty Bell, and a blank order form. London: The Christabel Pankhurst Memorial Fund Committee, 1958. A solicitation of funds for a proposed memorial to honor the militant suffragist, Christabel Pankhurst. The front cover features a photograph of Pankhurst and a list of the committee's officers. The inside panels give a brief history of Pankhurst' contribution towards women's suffrage in Britain and a rendering of the proposed memorial. Laid in is a contribution form to be sent to Lady Pethick-Lawrence of the Memorial Fund Committee.A single sheet folded (5 ½" x 8 ½") printed on coated stock, 4 p., illus., insert laid in. Union, N.J.: Ivan Petrov, [196-]. In Who Belongs to Hate Groups, Petrov reprints 24 excerpts from the Talmud as "proof" of the Jews' desire to murder and enslave Gentiles. Further excerpts from various far right publications, including his own newspaper, "Borba," document the inextricable link between Judaism and Communism. [Hollywood]: [Published by the author], 1940. First edition. A scarce work by the right wing agitator on the corrupting and degenerate influence of Hollywood, which was established by Russian Jews who imported the "embryo of atheism, the oriental germ of eroticism, [and] the seeds of lust and hatred" for their movies. This Hollywood "Imbroglio of Immigrants" is a nepotistic monopoly that blacklists any director, producer or actor who challenges its hegemony and who uses its propagandistic films to spread hatred. Phelps followed up this work with "Hollywood: The Fifth Column of America," and a pamphlet suggesting that Jews be shipped to Birobidjan. George Allison Phelps (1893-1953) was a poet, radio broadcaster and journalist who increasingly turned his pen and voice to the cause of anti-Semitism. He was an associate of Gerald L. K.
