Human Engineering Laboratory Inc. Boston. 1944. First Edition stated. Hardcover. The brown covers are in very good condition, the spine is mildly sunned and there is minor bumping to corners. The front cover is decorated with 18 small drawings and the title is on the front cover and spine. The interior of the book is very good condition; the pages are clear and bright. The first pages (approximately 8) have small creases in them and the endpapers are mildly toned. There is no writing in this book. The copyright page states that this publication replaces Uniform Distribution of Aptitudes in Schoolwork published in 1939.

Description:
Government Printing Office. Washington, D.C. 1870. 702 pages. Hardcover. The dark brown covers are in good minus condition. They are worn, soiled and contain numerous small spots, especially on the spine and front cover. There is moderate bumping/rolling on top and bottom of spine and corners. The title and year are in gold on spine and quite readable. The spine is rolled and the binding is loose when the book is opened, but the binding is intact. The interior of this book is in good minus condition. The pages are mildly to moderately toned with light foxing. The end papers are more heavily foxed and the front free endpaper is missing. There is no writing detected in the book. The book includes 45 black/white plates. These plates include fruits such as apples and raspberries, steam plows and other equipment, geological maps, and a frontis that is an early engraving of Cornell University, which would grow into a leading agricultural university in the U.S. The plates are generally in good condition.

D. Appleton and Company. New York, London. 1931. First Edition (date on title page and (1) on foot of last page). xv. 259 pages, plus a one-page publisher advertisement at end. The maroon covers are in good plus condition. There is minor bumping at the top/bottom of spine. The title and author are in bright gold on the front cover and spine. The covers retain much of their original color, although there are small spots and some staining, mostly on the front cover. The binding is solid. There is a small stain on the lower page edges and page edges mildly toned. This is not visible on open pages. The interior of the book is in very good condition. There is no writing, the pages are clean and bright. A small stain is visible on the bottom of one page, no other spotting detected.
