Frontispiece, 17 plates (each mostly showing more than one illustration) and 2 folding maps to the rear. Minimal wear to the jacket edges, a lovely bright copy.

Four folding maps held in pockets inside the covers of volume I, frontispieces and 16 colour plates plus numerous illustrations in the text, many of them photographic, later bookplates. Original gilt decorated cloth, t.e.g., some very minor rubbing otherwise an attractive set.

London: William Heinemann, 1911.. First English edition, 2 volumes, 4to. Coloured frontispieces tipped in plus black and white illustrations in the text. Original blue cloth, gilt spine titles, upper covers with a gilt vignette and title and rules in black, damp stain to the edge of the spine of volume I, otherwise a very good set still with their d.w.'s, these showing some light marking and stains to the spines, otherwise sound. The larger version of the two binding variants with the title in black to the upper covers. The wrappers were seemingly produced for the smaller binding, hence looking slightly too small for this set. Nevertheless an unusual survival.

Original gilt decorated green buckram, also designed by Buckland Wright, t.e.g, light discolouration to the covers otherwise a very good set. Cockalorum 167.

London: Stanley Paul & Co., (1914-1915).. Three volumes. First work in one volume, third edition, second work in two volumes, first edition. Publisher's dark blue cloth, gilt lettered to the spines. First work with a photogravure frontispiece and 48 plates, two with two illustrations; second work with 2 colour frontispieces, 98 black and white plates and 7 maps and plans. Spines slightly faded and a little rubbed to the extremities, two neat tissue repairs to verso of folding map in volume I of the second work.

Sunning to the jacket spine, else very good.

Frontispiece and 7 plates in colour plus a handful of black and white illustrations in the text. A little spotting to the front endpapers, very good.

First edition, 4to, (viii, 216) pp. 67 views on 57 engraved plates, some occasional light marginal foxing, slightly later inscription to front blank, recent one to the fly leaf. Modern quarter morocco, marbled sides, light damp stain to the foot of the spine, otherwise a very good copy.

Tanning to the spine which is slightly worn to the ends, else very good. "British Artists of To-Day: Number 11". Printed at the Curwen Press.

First edition. 8vo. 271, (1) pp. Publisher's teal cloth, gilt and white lettered to the spine and upper board, pictorial dust jacket designed by John Nash, not price clipped, touching contemporary inscription to the front free endpaper. Frontispiece plus another colour plate and 47 monochrome plates. Slight tanning to the jacket spine, some very mild edge wear with a few short inconspicuous tears, a bright and attractive copy.

[Duncraig: Royal Navy, 1942].. 8vo. 31, (1) pp. Publisher's plain blue wrappers with printed title to the upper cover which also feature a few contemporary handwritten annotations. Occasional minor fading and creasing to the covers, very good overall. "This booklet replaces B.R. 143 (40), 'The Treatment of Surgical Casualties after a Naval Action,' and has been revised in the light of experience gained since the outbreak of hostilities." An uncommon item of wartime medical and naval ephemera, OCLC shows only one copy, at the National Maritime Museum.

(16) pp. Publisher's publisher's black felt backed purple perspex boards, white lettered to the upper cover, held in the original two part Elms Lesters postal slipcase featuring the address of the original purchaser. Colour illustrations reproducing 5 of Neate's 3D paintings and opposed by close up details of each image. Slight creasing to the felt at one point, else very good.
