This ex-library book has typical treatments and is a Reading Copy with many flaws. It appears to have been rebound and the original illustrated endpapers were replaced. It has been mended on the spine and corners with red cloth tape in a way that is entirely lacking in artistic sensibility. Spine is sunned and cloth tape shows soil. Head and heel of spine and corners are bumped and book has edgewear. The fep has been torn out; there is a light waterstain on the bottom corner of outside pages that also appears in the corner margin of some pages. Pages are lightly tanned and we noted a few pages with fingermarks or light soil in the margins. There is some soil to outside pages.
