Another of the Beautiful leather signed edition is brown with gilt lettering and decorations and I see no detects, but NF in case I miss something.

Before May it seems to have floundered from August 1937 to May 1938 with 4 or more printings with news of it being Pulitzer Prize Novel 1938, with mention of the dual winning History Books on the rear inside flaps. This is the 13th printing. It has a 4 line gift inscription, not by the author on the 1st leaf. Unread tightness, very square and clean, there is wear on the spine ends(fraying minor). Minor foxing fore-edge and discoloration back cover, clean with alcohol for no effect(it is not alive). DJ has chipping on edges(now in Brodart) and is soiled more so on the back. Price intact.

Hard red cloth with minor wear, bruised ends. Gold lettering, pages are age-toned, no price. and the DJ has a couple of small tears rear cover, and light edge wear. This was the most Moto novels, for his collection, in one book I could find. NO SIGNATURE INCLUDED.

No price on DJ and a small dot near rear bottom spine, No Doubt is a BCE but not stated. Black cloth spine with bright white lettering, gray paper over boards, light wear to the ends. Very clean and unread tightness. DJ has chips and shelf wear.This is his 1st book after coming home and a true look at the GIs problems, like unmentioned returning to jobs and their replacements being fired. And most soldiers picked up smoking and little or no tobacco available stateside. I just flipped thru but I'm sure other things like housing, etc. Get the truth by Bill.
