FIRST EDITION Marcuse’s radical “Heideggerian” reading of Hegel in which he seeks to establish the meaning of ‘historicity’. Gilt bright. Former owner's name (Chauncey Hackett) in pencil along with a line of text: “Except for the picture of N. + a few facts this book is worthless because the author is an ass-“.
