The authors own copy with his SIGNED bookplate and with a full page holographic inscription by the author to the recipient on the f.e.p. as well as an 80 word SIGNED holographic letter complete with envelope to the recipient along with a TYPED LETTER SIGNED by the author on The Outlook Stationery, again to the recipient. Contains essays on Wordsworth, Emerson, Irving, Weimar, Goethe, Whitman, Scott, et.al. as well as 46 black & white photos. From the library of the former premier Walt Whitman collector, bibliophile and philanthropist, Charles Feinberg.

UNBUILDING, Houghton Mifflin, 1980, first edition (third printing), fine in near fine wrap-around pictorial dust-wrapper. A fictionalized account of the deconstructing of the Empire State Building. SIGNED by the author/artist with illustrations on virtually every page, most of which are full page drawings.

A won-derful bit of proof reading with the authors name mispelled on the front cover and title page, but spelled correctly on both the "Other books by" page and the copyright page. I guess that's why they call them uncorrected proofs.

SHACKLES, Henry Waterson Company, 1927, first American edition, spine lightened, some minor nibling on the page edges of a few leaves, else a tight vg copy. The first edition published by The Graphic Publishers Limited in Canada in 1926 is rare. This, the first American edition is virtually impossible to locate. ("Madge Macbeth's Shackles magnifies the middle-class power and gender dynamics of its time. At turns provocative and surprising, and filled with dialogue and debate that expose early twentieth century limitations and opportunities for both women and men, Shackles is a colourful depiction of first-wave feminism in Canada").-----Erin Wunker.

AT THE BACK OF THE NORTH WIND, David McKay, 1919, first edition thus, t.p.e.'s gold-gilt, just about fine in near fine dust-wrapper with some light dust soil to the rear dust-wrapper panel and with 8 full color plates by Jesse Willcox Smith.
