On front board in yellow crayon (?) is the annotation, "Absorbing translation. x." There is also a stamp on the first page stating "please return in 7 days." Book is soiled, stained, binding is cracked, spine is cocked and torn. Top edge is stained burgundy. Other edges dustsoiled. Just short of unacceptable, but it is not a common book and the piece of dust jacket is attractive!

It is a 71 page picture book, reader, and discussion guide which primarily shows colour photographs of the Sarcee community. It introduces a young girl, Coralee Starlight, and her family and their home and farm. It shows the family and other community members in various activities. Some are ordinary things like watching TV and making snow angels, others are specifically those of first nations peoples, like making pemican and hoopdancing. This copy is in as new condition.
