This novel by Elizabeth M Alford follows a semi-fictional tale set during the real seventeenth century sieges during theFirst English Civil War. Condition: In a full cloth binding with pictorial detailing. Externally, sound with slight rubbing and bumping to the extremities andspine, particularly to the head and tail. Hinges are slightly strained but firm. Prior owners' bookplate to front pastedown, L E J and M A Brooke. Internally, generally firmly bound.
