Lovely, tight and square copy in maroon boards. Dust wrapper is lightly soiled with an abrasion to front cover impacting the "N" in Lincoln, tanning to the spine, spine top rubbed. Despite this cataloguing of flaws, the wrapper is about near fine.

Poet Louis MacNeice's copy, signed by him in pencil on front pastedown. Books with MacNeice's ownership signature are uncommon as his archive, including books from his library, was acquired by the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin in 1964, a year after MacNeice's death.
A very good copy in like dust wrapper.

Inscribed by Wright to Geoffrey L. Bickersteth, translator of Dante's The Divine Comedy and The Paradiso. Affixed to the half title is a 125 word ALS from Wright to Bickersteth that accompanied the book: "The book has just appeared in its original sin: the errors in facts, solecisms and awkwardness of expression would have been fewer if all my corrections in proof had not been jettisoned through the general editor's slackness & incompetence".
Occasionally heavy pencil marginalia, presumably Bickersteth's. A very good copy with Bickersteth's bookplate and some rubbing to spine tips.

London: The Nonesuch Press, 1926. Limited edition, #98 of 1250 copies on japon vellum signed by the author. Pages uncut and untrimmed. Top and bottom spine darkened, otherwise an about fine copy. Parchment dust wrapper, trimmed short of board edges as issued, is toned and a bit wrinkled with one chip.

London: Faber and Faber, 1957. First UK Edition. Slight spine roll otherwise fine in a fine dust wrapper

New York: Viking, 1966. Signed by the author. The handwriting may be creaky, but at age 80, Marianne Moore retained her sharp sense of humor, creatively adding "Moore Moore" to the half title to read "Tell me Moore, Tell me Moore". Fine in fine dust wrapper.

London: The Nonesuch Press, 1934. Centenary Edition. This copy is dated 1934 on title page with no mention of printing on the obverse and is accompanied by a plain, undecorated dust wrapper priced at 8 shillings and 6 pence; other copies we've seen for sale as first editions have no date on title page but have a first printing reference on the obverse with a decorated dust wrapper priced at 15 shillings. Priority unknown, but the lower price on this copy suggests that this is a true first edition. Decorated endpapers, buckram binding. Front and rear covers with a two-inch band of toning, othewise nearly fine in like about fine dust wrapper with tiny tear and very slight chip to bottom of spine.

Inscribed by Morrison "For Gretchen, Best wishes".
A tight, seemingly unread copy. Covers retain their original bright yellow, overall very good. Edges of text block severely foxed, little rubbing and slight snag to rear cover at spine.

Signed, dated and inscribed from Murray and his wife, Mary (Lady Mary Henrietta Howard). Writing is in G. Murray's hand.
Very good with slight wear to the spine tips.
Murray was an outstanding scholar of the language and culture of Ancient Greece, perhaps the leading authority in the first half of the twentieth century.
