Description:
Used, Mylar cover, cloth, silver embossed image on front cover, blue gilt lettering and image on spine, blue top wash is marked, slight foxing on bottom edge.Translated by Michael Gallagher, this is the second book in the tetralogy The Sea of Fertiltiy, which turned out to be Mishima's final great literary work. It is a stand alone novel but is connected historically (Japan in the twentieth century) and atmospherically to it's predecessor, Spring Snow.
Born into a Samurai family, Mishima took his life in ritual suicide, seppuku, on November 25, 1970.
