Dust jacket verso has been “mended” with taped bits of paper touched up with a watercolor pencil which perfectly matches dust jacket colors, amateurish but effective. Now protected in removable mylar.

Light rubbing to spine leather, toning to cloth portion of covers and 2 faint stains, one on cloth of front cover and another on leather of rear cover.

Half leather over marbled boards with same marbled design to all edges. Leather rubbed, beginning to crack. Although red leather title labels mostly unaffected with gilt titles still bright, the marbled boards very lightly scuffed with 2 tiny (paint drops?) to front panel of Vol. 2. In spite of the numerous cosmetic issues, the set still shows well and both volumes are now protected in removable mylar.
