Description:
Chicago: Standard Map Co., 1915. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Folio (40 cm), pp. 38. Black cloth with burgundy quarter leather. Colored, engraved maps of each Township (as well as the entire County and the State of Michigan) showing ownership of each plot of land greater than 20 acres. Each township has an accompanying chart of names of farmers, acreage owned, and notes on crops and livestock raised. These pages also have numerous advertisements for local businesses. At the top of each Township map, in neat pencil handwriting, is the name of the Township Supervisor in 1927. Boards are partly detached, with edge wear and rubbing, and pages show heavy soiling and foxing, though most map areas are in very good condition. The Michigan map has a couple of small holes at the border of the map, not affecting the land area.

Description:
Philadelphia: Gebbie & Husson Co., 1893. Very good. 23.5 x 16 cm. Color frontispiece. One of 1000 copies published of the Aquarelle Edition of The Library of Choice Literature and Encyclopidia of Universal Authorship, the 10-volume set was edited by Ainsworth R. Spofford and Charles Gibbon. "The photogravure illustrations form a gallery of art exclusively devoted to the representation of literature, such as has never been seen till now; and these pictures, by the best artists of all nations, conclusively prove the importance of the editors' selections from literature, because the paintings were made for the text, not the text for the paintings, and the great modern painters confirm the good judgement of the editors in their selection of great masterpieces."
