Grosset & Dunlap, no date. Hardcover. good/good. Octavo. Blue cloth in color pictorial dust jacket. Four photographs(tinted in blue from the Richard Wallace film staring Katharine Hepburn in 1934 . There is a three inch piece missing at top of dust jacket which has resulted in tanning to the title on the cloth spine. Light wear at bottom of spine. Jacket also has chipping and some tearing.

Back cover has a trio of drip marks, white in color, the larget being about the size of a dime and the others much smaller. The hinges are tender, the back hinge is partially exposed for about 3 inches. Interior pages have foxing and some brown stains (nicotine?) throughout. And dispite the description it is not a fragile book, it feels quite sturdy.
