Description:
This Book was written to illustrate what State and Local Governments have to do to ensure issues are resolved and work gets done. From the 1930's to the 1960's, political power rested with a strong Federal Government that held power and in many cases administered programs through State and Local Government, but retained program control. The Author believes that finally in the 1970's, the States came alive and increasingly people wanted solutions to problems from State and Local Agencies. Book has 253 pages and an Appendix in the back with many Charts and tables with data from a study.
