Blue cloth with gold embossed lettering, a record of the work of this important contsruction company that started in Blackpool in 1877 as Jacob Parkinson and Co. It is particularly important for its role in theatre construction and particularly the designs of Frank Matcham. The first job they did for Matcham was at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle in 1901 - then followed many other theatres for him and others. A little known work, approx 80 pages with photographs, very good condition.
