Interior is very clean; frontispiece has tissue guard in place, but lower part of page has pulled away from gutter. NO markings at all. A previous owners period bookplate on front end-paper. Front gutter (between blank free end-papers) has been a tad over-extended, but holding tight. All Fourteen illustrations in place.

Rear leather board heavily worn at edges, with spine crown and foot chipped and frayed. Gilt spine title still bright.
