The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve has several chips, including a small one in the middle of the spine and others on the front fold connected with a lengthy 5" tear. The jacket also has some soiling and is wrapped off-center.

Lajeunesse on the front endpaper and SIGNED, again, on the title page. The volume is bumped on the spine ends ands corners. There is an erasure on the front pastedown, three pin hole size indentations on thr first three leaves and the front hinge is starting at the top edge.

Bruce Humphries, Inc, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Good +. The volume is corner and spine bumped and has some light staining near the top edge as well as a gently toned spine. The pages have just light toning and soiling. The unclipped dust jacket, sleeved in mylar, is edge rubbed with chips (to a depth of 1" on the top of the rear panel and joint) and closed tears (longest is 3/4" on the base of the rear panel). The jacket is reinforced with tape on the verso.

Barre Publishers, 1970. Hardcover. Very Good. Limited to 500 copies (with a tissue guarded Woodcock print by A. L. Ripley), this copy unnumbered. Quarter bound in green cloth with cream boards. There are three stains on the front panel and two on the rear. Both panels also have uneven toning. Lacks the slipcase. This is an oversized volume; priority and international mailings will require additional postage.

Bookplate of collector Pierre Siccari on the front pastedown. The covers are moderately edge worn with an area (3/8") exposed on the top rear edge. The spine is toned, lettering faded, and there is a stained area on the back panel. there is a light 3/4"x1" water stain on the bottom of the front gutter and extends throughout the pages un til it measures 3"x5" on the rear gutter. The binding is still tight.

Tissue guarded frontis; faint ink name on title page. There is a uniform waviness to the fore-edges (as if this volume had at one point been exposed to a humid environment). The corner folded outer wrapper is rubbed at the spine ends and soiled on the facing panels.

The volume is edge rubbed, heavily sunned on the spine, has areas of soiling and small bubbling pockets mostly adjacent to the spine joints. A bookplate has found a home on the front pastedown, an ink name, location, and date are penned to the front endpaper, and the pages and fore-edges have light toning and occasional foxing.
