Flyer for this series of 10 film screenings at Im Kino Arsenal. The films included Charles Burnett's Killer of Sheep, a film on the Young Lords, Barbara Kopple's "Harlan County USA," Sandra Hochman's "Year of the Woman," Bibermann's 'Salt of the Earth,' etc. Minor toning and a couple of creasing to extremities else fine.

Association copy, generously inscribed in the year following publication to the occultist and fellow Rosicrucian Jean Haab: "A jean Haab / Qui avant mème d'être ceinture noire avait dejá se bien servi le judo. En toute amitié, Paris,, 20 Septembre 55." A striking association linking Klein's work with the occult. At the age of 24, Klein left France and studied Judo in Japan, achieving a 4th dan blackbelt - an unusual accomplishment for a European of that era. Upon his return to France Klein opened the Judo Académie in Paris, and then published this extensive survey of Judo, illustrated with hundreds of black and white photographs, many of them featuring Klein himself. np, 1988. 8 1/2 x 11" flyer, inkjet printedin 4 colors. Rubberstamped date of October 1988 to lower left margin. Early flyer for an early BBS devoted to "uncut men and their fans." Very early BBS ephemera from the dial-up modem days, now a rare physical artifact straddling two worlds and pointing towards a milieu that is completely disappeared. A couple light creases else fine.

Debut issue of the proto-punk music fanzine devoted to late 1960's rock music. This issue takes a rather indepth dive into the history of Ultimate Spinach, some on Autosalvage.... "Fine debut here, with feature coverage of Ultimate Spinach (yeah , really!) Autosalvage and other late '60s trivia." - Greg Shaw, in BOMP 13. Some light overall creasing. Very good.

Profusely illustrated, with a sheet of folded paper towel bound in. Text in German. An early publication, if not the first from the Gay and Lesbian Theater group, issued in conjunction with the performance of their first play of the same name, and predating the release of the Mannstoll LP. Despite the large stated limitation, this is first example we've seen. OCLC locates only a single holding. Very good with some minor toning and creasing.
