Although the English edition is occasionally found in dust jacket, the American edition is much less common. Not in Tanselle (for the English dust jacket see Tanselle 97.91) Very good with light shelf wear in nearly Very good dustjacket, with chips at top and bottom of spine, and a few tears along the spine and front flap.

Set in the historic city of Quebec while Canada was still under French rule. Very Good, with light shelf wear, spine ends bumped. No dust jacket.

An unusually scarce recipe book with recipes for Soups, Fish, Meats, Vegetables, Salads, Pickles, Breads and Cakes, and Desserts. Some more specific recipes include Okra Gumbo, Crab Jambalaya, Waffles, a Mint Julep, and Peach Blow. Very Good but for having been bumped at fore-edge of front cover which has cut into cloth some, but lettering bright, in Good edge chipped dustjacket, with small chip at mid front panel and at front flap edge as well as mid-spine.
