The young hero, Jack Jarvis, is plucked from the East River in New York by the crew of an ocean-going vessel who witness his fearless attempt to rescue the drowning dog of a crippled beggar girl.Condition:The top edge of the front cover is tanned; clean spine; tiny stain spot on the back cover; sharp corners; there are a couple tiny cloth tears at the bottom edge of the spine.
