Description:
Collins. Published by Collins in 1970. This is the first UK edition and first print. It is in very good or better condition. The complete wrapper has no tears or chips and no loss at all. There is some rubbing along the edges and spine ends and the laminate has started to peel along the top edge. The book is in very clean and bright condition, as are the pages. There are no previous owner's marks or ink. The jacket has been price clipped. Overall a very good or better copy.  This is the first book, where it all began for the wonderful Mog. This is the familiar tale of how poor old Mog gets under everyones feet and is a general annoyance, until she bravely scares off a burglar mid schenanigins and gets the adulation she richly deserves complete with a lovely medal! Has become rare to find in nice condition like this with the jacket.  . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1970.

Description:
Macmillan & Co. London: Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1919 8vo., original blue publisher's cloth, ruled and lettered in gilt to spine; pp. [iv], v-vii, [i], 279, [i]; the cloth lightly rubbed to extremities, with minor loss of colour; upper edge a little dust soiled, with very faint evidence of a splash mark; previous pencil ownership inscription now erased from ffep, leaving mild depressions in the paper; a very good copy otherwise, sound in binding. First edition. Upon publication, the Economic Consequences created an intense and immediate controversy for its blatant criticism of both world leaders, and the Treaty of Versailles which ended the First World War. In his Preface, written while at King's College Cambridge in 1919, Keynes outlines the background for this important work on Economics. Attached to the British Treasury during the War, he was their official representative at the Paris Peace Conference, as well as being Deputy for the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the Supreme Economic… Read More

Description:
The Viking Press. New York: The Viking Press, 1983 8vo., printed soft wraps with text and title art in black to upper cover only; pp. [xi], viii-xi, [iii], 3-522, [ii]; very mild browning, creasing, and spotting to covers, extending to the first and last few pages; clearly read, but carefully so, the bulk of the text remaining clean and totally unmarked; the odd corner crease. Rare US Proof copy of one of King's earlier titles, his 13th novel, published in 1983. With publication date and price to front, marked 'Confidential' and 'Not for distribution to the public'. Christine is the story of a 1958 Plymouth Fury possessed by malevolent supernatural forces. Due to its language, sexual content, and demonic undertones, it was banned by the American Library Association, and was removed from numerous school libraries. King is no stranger to banned books, with another three of his works also being placed on the list: his first, Carrie (1974), along with Cujo (1981), and The Dead Zone (1979). A film… Read More
