Description:
United Kingdom: Gollancz, 1967. First UK Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good-. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Collection of 3 novels: Rule Golden, The Dying Man, Natural State. Signed (initials) by Knight on the title page. The book is tight with light shelfwear, and bumping at the spine ends. Internally clean and free of markings. The dust jacket is rubbed with a short closed tear to the bottom edge of the rear panel. The closed tear is repaired with tape on the dj backside. Also a hint of toning to the dj, as is common with the earlier Gollancz editions. Low quality paper used for the dj, so it's not a sharply striking visual, but is still attractive and presentable considering age and factors. Covered with a brodart. Book is preserved in an acid-free archival bag. Gift or collection quality.

Description:
New York: The Realist Association, 1974. First Edition . Magazine. Good++. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Article by Paul Krassner. Entire issue dedicated to the story titled Why Was Patricia Hearst Kidnapped? The Realist was an underground paper founded by Paul Krassner, and first published in 1958. It saw print for over 42 years, coming to an end in 2001. Steeped in satire, and wrapped up in the First Amendment right to free speech, this underground countercultural paper was quite a tool in speaking Truth to Power and breaking taboos we bound ourselves by. This issue is in solid GOOD++ condition. FOLDED booklet, measuring approx. 10.5in TALL x 8.5in WIDE. Staples holding firm, although a hint of rusting. Faint white mailing label residue to front cover. NO hard creases or soft tears. Except for the toning to the paper, I would grade this as VERY GOOD. NO markings. Overall no tearing, IF there is a tear, it's short and there are very few. Pages are toned, but not… Read More
