Owner's name in ink to title page with light browning to endpapers and half-title; mild bumping and rubbing to corners and extremities; top edge a little darkened; some minor cracking to binding at page 16, but all pages still holding firm. A very good copy indeed of the author's scarce third collection of ghost stories.

Original green cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. A very good copy with a spot to the bottom corner of preliminaries and a small black spot to the rear endpaper/pastedown and final pages.

The original and unclipped dust jacket has a few chips to corners and some rubbing in places, but very good overall.
