Covers are soiled; front cover and subsequent 2 leaves are wrinkled; the first printed leaf has a lengthy closed tear front the top margin into the text but with no loss; front cover is separating; otherwise a clean copy. An account of the movement and skirmishes between British and American troops preceding the Battle of White Plains, from October 11th to 18th, 1776. Namely, General Howe's landing at Throg's Neck and his ailed attempt to encircle Washington's forces and bring the rebellion to an early end.

The contents are correspondence and documents related to a treaty between the United States and Sicily requiring compensation for vessels and cargo lost or seized by Joachim Murat between the years 1809 and 1812. There is a two-page table with the list including contents and values.

Fairly early catalogues; the broadsides of the latter are folding and includes a note to the subscriber signed by Van Vliet; (2) Broadside prospectuses for Janet Nyholm's "From a Housewife's Diary" (1978) and Margo Lockwood's "Bare Elegy" (1980); (1) Beautiful folding broadside announcement, "Two Thirds of Nineteen Hundred & Seventy-Nine" with four titles, printed in three colors including the large woodcut header that though unattributed seems to be by Helen Siegl from Janus Press's "The Dialogues of Creatures Moralised." A very nice group of catalogues and prospectuses all in exceptional condition.
