Hardcover, full tan cloth with blue lettering to front cover and spine, top edge stained blue, other edges untrimmed; dust jacket is blue with modernist architectural image. Near fine with light turning in of spine ends; dust jacket has original price intact, shallow chipping to top of front panel and bottom of spine panel, some short closed tears, presents very well with its striking cover design. Zukor was a Hungarian-American who produced one of the first feature-length films (The Prisoner of Zenda, 1913) and was one of the three founders of Paramount Studios. The book covers his rise from nickelodeon arcades to the heights of Hollywood.

Full yellow cloth with red lettering to spine under yellow illustrated dust jacket, 7-1/2" x 5-1/4", 280 pp. Some discoloration to bottom edge of boards, offsetting to endpapers from DJ flaps, fading to yellow of dust jacket, toning to spine, price clipped. Generally, a lovely copy of an early edition of this modern classic.

Full black cloth with gilt decoration (reverse lettering in banners), 7.5" x 5", 317 pp., under red & black dust jacket, original review slip with two paragraphs of ad copy laid in. Some discoloration to endpapers; dust jacket toned at spine and top edges of front & rear panels, original price of $2.50 intact on front flap. A nice copy, quite uncommon with review slip.
