Description:
Healdsburg, CA: Zephyrus Image, nd. 2 1/2 x 13" bumpersticker, linocut in red with black text. Some faint toning to extremities, but still a fine copy, unused, with the backing still intact. One of the late productions of the press, issued from Healdsburg. The rather cryptic reference is to Michael Myers' day job at the Fairchild - the bumpersticker was created specifically for other employees at the plant. According to Robert Rusk "The job of the silicon crystal growing chamber's operator was to grow the crystal & withdraw it from the molten silicon with a perfectly tapered "tail." MM was such an operator. This was possibly the first "regular" job that Michael ever held. Morale was low. It was a shitty place to spend your nights. Michael made this for his coworkers out of pure empathy. He gave them to his supervisor to pass along to the workers. When Michael died I went to his Supervisor and asked him for the remainder, tho I do not think he had ever given out a single one, out of some cowardly…

Description:
San Francisco: Zephyrus Image, nd. First edition. 9 1/4 x 14" broadside, linocut no newsprint. An early broadside from the press, dating from the Collins Street days, and with the newsprint paper utilized, and early spelling of the press name as "Zephyrous", similar in feel to the companion pieces Help Your Local Junkie Kick and Liberate Berkeley. Johnston's description of the broadside is worth quoting in full. "Another early untitled image by Myers with his characteristic bilateral symmetry and organic shapes combined with mechanized ones.Gatling guns (?), skinny Indian opium smokers rising out of a lotus, surmounted by a nude woman." - Johnston p. 186. This is the first state of the poster, not to be confused with the later second state of the broadside entitled International Harvester, which used the same block but added other elements and used the later spelling of the press name. In this state, one of the scarcer ZI broadsides. A battered example, with toning, creasing, and several chips…

[Healdsburg, Cali.]: Zephyrus Image, nd. 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of stationary, illustrated with a linocut of a spark plug fashioned into a lure. Stationary made by the ZI during their Healdsburg days. The linocut, by Michael Myers, is one of his best. Fine.

Description:
[San Francisco]: Zephyrous Image [Zephyrus Image], 1972. First edition. 8 x 11" broadside, letterpress and linocut on newsprint. One of the earliest broadsides from the press, illustrated with a distinctive linocut of before and after pictures of an arm and track marks. One of the most striking and ephemeral productions of the press, the image was also utilized in a 1972 issue of Open Hand, the magazine published by David Bromige's Cal State Sonoma Class. [Johnston p. 185, 227] Paper toned, as usual, with chipping and nicks to margins and a chunk missing from the upper left hand corner.

Description:
Healdsburg, CA: [Zephyrus Image], nd. 8 1/2 x 16 1/8" broadside, linocut on salmon newsprint. Another beautiful example of the jobwork the press did for their local library. The poster features a striking linocut by Myers, which depicts a book tangled in several plastic six-pack rings. Given the limited scope of distribution, decidedly uncommon. [Johnston p. 234]. Overall creasing, with several marginal chips and closed tears. Good only.

Description:
[Bruxelles]: Internationale Situationniste, 1958. 9 x 12 1/2" sheet, offset litho on both recto and verso. Text in French. A vital attack on art critics by the I.S., signed by Abdelhafid Khatib, Hans Platschek, Walter Korun, Guy Debord, Giuseppe Pinot-Gallizio, and Asger Jorn, and issued on the occasion of a gathering of art critics in conjunction with the World's Fair in Brussels. The flyer was forcibly distributed during the invasion of the Press Club at said gathering, mailed to critics, and thrown out of a window into the street. Faint old fold line, and a touch of toning to margins, else a fine example. As one might imagine of such a forcibly distributed pamphlet, surviving examples are relatively scarce.
