Pictorial wraps. 12pp. One of the early and popular attempts in modern times to write a new liturgy for use primarily in Lutheran Churches. The parts of the liturgy were set to familar folk tunes: "Michael Row the Boat Ashore", "This Land is Your Land", "Oh, Rock my Soul, "Blowing in the Wind" & more. The texts were contemporary, but followed the format of the historic Lutheran liturgy. The author was a professor at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. Owner's signature & date & some check marks. Fine. Very scarce.

Foxing throughout. The title page was torn vertically down through 3/4 of the page, but has been professionally mended without tape. Covers are soiled & dull with light wear to extremities & soft corners. Good, sound copy of a rare title & noted by one authority as the first printed book in the territory. W-C 239a, Graff 1709.

n.p.: Hallmark, 1960. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Apparently a first printing of a kid's book (ages 3 - 6) published by Hallmark. Covers and pages are paper boards. We do not know the date of publication, but estimate 1960; could have been earlier or later. Inside the front cover is the color illustration of a Dutch girl and inside the back cover is the color illustration of a boy fron Switzerland. Following that, each "page" or leaf is made of three color panels (9 panels in all) which are ingeniously designed so that when flipped in different arrangements present the other 6 children from different nations. So, total of 8 children: Brigit from Holland, Ahmed from Africa, Chee from China, Raj from India, Margarita from Mexico, Jaques from Canada, Jenny from the USA, & Hans from Switzerland.
