The second edition of this work. Published in 1807, this is a very scarce pamphlet written by Bristol-based solicitor C.H. Walker. As it states in the title, it is an appeal to the public on the poor conduct of former mayor David Evans, Esq. and John Noble and James Harvey, Esqrs., Aldermen of Bristol. These individuals apparently imprisoned the author and fined him £100, though according to the author he was wrongfully convicted. It was printed and published locally at George Routh in Bristol, and it states that any proceeds earned from this pamphlet would be donated to the Bristol Infirmary. Containing the bookplate of Harold E.
