Octavo, pp. [4], 210, [14] Index etc, printed on Kelmscott hand-made paper. Green laurel wreath motif to dedication leaf; selected initial letters printed in green or red. Tan quarter calf with 5 raised bands, gilt titles to maroon label to spine and decoration in blind to compartments, with floral paper-covered boards. Very minor stain to spine otherwise clean and bright. with no annotation or inscriptions. A Near Fine copy. Haberly (1896-1981), the American poet, teacher and printer, founded Seven Acres Press which produced a small number of exquisitely produced publications, the majority by Loyd himself. Loyd also briefly controlled the highly regarded Gregynog press in Wales in the 1930s. Scarce.

A little scattered light foxing, and several leaves creased at upper corner; no annotation or inscriptions. A very good copy. First published in America the previous year the first British edition contains four plates not present in the American. Haggard's novel of a lost Mayan city, set in Mexico. McKay, pp., 38- 40.

Octavo. 155 pp. Frontispiece showing Facsimiles of Collier's pen and pencil corrections to the 1632 text plus two further facsimiles, one of which is double-page. Original blind-stamped red cloth with gilt titles. Cover cloth a little discoloured and showing wear to extremities, with small split across head of spine. Inner front hinge tender but holding, endpapers lightly soiled. Overall a very good copy. An important work in the history of Shakespeare - the Author spotted that Collier's notes in the Perkins Folio were fraudulent and exposed his deception to the public. Scarce.

Central crease throughout (no doubt folded and placed in a pocket at some point) and a little soiling and foxing to title; corner torn from final leaf approx 3-inches square with name of "William" inscribed next to it (surname missing) otherwise condition. Thomas Bell was one of the 4-generation surveying dynasty, working as a valuer for the Dukes of Northumberland as well as the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway Company, and specialising in enclosure awards. Scarce.
