Northampton, Massachusetts: Privately printed, 1936 Staple-bound textured blue card covers with bronze title. Sixteen pages plus title page and blank rear endpaper. Founded in 1862, The Club's membership was drawn from the among the most prominent professional men of the town, including Calvin Coolidge. Introductory of six pages followed by nine pages summarizing activities and membership of The Club for the previous ten years. Interesting topics include the introduction of a "Ladies' Night," and a reluctance to discuss the great financial disaster of 1929 "neither as the title of a paper nor as a topic." Very faint soil to covers except for unfortunate irregular moderate quarter-size spot stain to upper corner of front cover near fore edge. Otherwise clean, intact, and unworn.

Details of crockery-making and about the founding in 1893 of the only society in England manufacturing crockery under the Industrial Acts of 1876. With Appendix. Upper front cover corner cloth worn and board underneath broken away; other corners lightly-to-moderately worn. Light staining to cover cloth, as well as quarter-size brown stain and drip mark, partially cleaned away. Same brown substance also spots outer page margins of pp. 16-36, with 1/2" diameter spot to two pages and diminishing at other pages. Otherwise clean and tight.
