Second novel by the author of Wings on the Cross, the story of a chaplain with the RAF during World War II. Originally published by the Society of St. Paul in Athlone, Ireland. Jacket spine faded. Pollock, born in Belfast in 1915, was a member of the Irish branch of the Dominican order and served with the RAF from 1939 to 1947 in North Africa, Corsica, Sardinia, and Italy, as well as England. During the war, he met Padre Pio, the inspiration for his first book.
