A transcript of a diary kept between November 1905 and 1906 by Dorothy Hammonds and Margaret Mowll, two women undergraduates at St Hugh's Hall (now St Hugh's College), Oxford. The diary pages are also printed in facsimile in the book. A heavy book, packaged weight is over 1 kilo, so extra postage will be required from buyers outside the UK. 196pp, b&w illustrations.. Findochty: Charles Geddes, 1996. Minor creasing to the spine, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this paperback book. The author's life story from his poverty-stricken childhood in the Moray Firth town of Buckie where he was raised by his grandparents after being abandoned by his mother, his Christian conversion, and later life. He was for some years the principal teacher of Religious Education at Buckie High School, before resigning rather than teach that other religions were as equally valid as Christianity.
