Also, two related newspaper clippings from Jacksonville, Florida newspapers.The dust jacket has shelf wear and small chips on the edges. The end pages where the newspaper clippings were inlaid are discolored. The book's cover, pages and binding are otherwise in very good condition.The novel is set in the backwoods of northwest Florida

The covers have wear on the edges.An inscription and a name sticker is on the front end page. Pages have toning that look to me to be the way they were from the beginning but could be from age. The illustrations are unblemished. Other than the cover damage mentioned earlier the book is in very good condition. The binding is tight and the pages do not have markings.
