The volume reports on Unesco' second mission concerning the preservation and restoration of historic buildings: this concerning Yugoslavia's early medieval Church of St. Sophia in Ochrida (Ohrid), Macedonia. The author, Ferdinand Forlati (1882-1975), was an important Italian architect and civil engineer, responsible for the restoration of many of the Veneto region's architectural landmarks.

A longitudinal study prepared under the auspices of the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health by a group of six psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists based at various institutions in New York and Madison, Wisconsin. The study follows "six creative people in the field of painting, sculpture, writing, and acting.
