Plain, stapled, illustrated wrappers; 24 pp. A relatively scarce expose of ex-King Michael of Romania and his history of graft, exploitation and fascist conspiracy. The author, editor of the Romanian progressive weekly newspaper, "Romanul American," in Detroit accuses American big business interests of collaborating with an anti-democratic, anti-Semite and that the Truman administration should instead befriend the new communistic Romania and its people. A Fine copy. A dozen copies in WorldCat.

An issue of this women's health tabloid featuring an article by Sharon Lieberman and the Healthright Collective titled "Labor Pains: Occupational Health in America," an interview with a female Chilean dentist who was tortured under Pinochet's military dictatorship, "Eating Right in America: A Bibliography," regional reports, Health News Briefs, etc. Tabloid format printed on higher quality paper, 8 p., illus. [Marietta, GA?]: [The Thunderbolt?], 1977. A two-sided poster addressed to black and white Americans exposing the Jewish role in the slave trade and the continuing Jewish enslavement of the American population in 1977. The recto documents the cruel experience of Africans at the hands of Jewish slave merchants in Newport, RI and Philadelphia, and includes a list of Jewish slave ships and their owners. Also included are photographs of Rev. Henry Mitchell of the North Star United Missionary Workers and author Alex Haley and an illustration of African women being transported in chains. The verso details the methods by which the "common working man" - both black and white - has become the contemporary field slave through Jewish-orchestrated welfare programs, Kosher food, gun control, communism, and racial tension, inflamed by books such as Alex Haley's Roots that erroneously blame whites for slavery. Marietta, Ga: The Thunderbolt Inc, [197-]. A two-sided anti-mongrelization flyer courtesy of the tireless racist campaigner, Edward Fields, and issued under the "Thunderbolt" imprint, the long-time organ of the National States Rights Party. The flyer compiles pseudo-scientific excerpts, illustrations, and photographs "proving" the biological and physiological differences between the races. The verso focuses on comparing blacks with apes and includes 16 bullet points presumably written by Fields. The 16th point explains: "As the black genes of the Negro are more powerful than white genes - the Negro has thereby destroyed every white civilization that he has come in contact with or has left that civilization stagnant and rotting and dependent upon the last drop of white blood from outside to keep it going." Xerographically reproduced on both sides of a 14" x 8 ½" sheet. Fine.

Pittsburgh: KNOW, Inc, 1972. An article on the sexist clinical and therapeutic theories in psychology, which "reinforce prejudiced attitudes against women and lead to further discrimination and malaise." Corner-stapled 11" x 8 ½" sheets, 11 p.

London: George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd, 1959. First edition. Small octavo (19 cm); 175 pp.; photographic frontispiece; 2 page map; photographs; dust jacket. Green paper boards stamped in blue. A near fine or better copy with some darkening to bottom board edges and a faint pink stain to bottom edge. Price sticker to front endpaper, else clean throughout. Unclipped dust jacket is near fine with a hint of general rubbing, mostly to the rear panel. This title was part of the "We Go" series, in which each title featured two young people circumnavigating the world.

First edition thus. 8vo; plain, stapled wrappers, iv, 26 pp. An English translation of German anthropologist, Eugen Fischer's, lecture on the racial genesis of Hebrews. Fischer's lecture was meant to be more scientific than political, although the implications of differentiating between the racial composition of Jews and Northern Europeans under National Socialism is obvious. [NOT IN SINGERMAN].

Boston: Arthur Fisher, 1923. First edition. Original stapled and printed wrappers; 32 pp. Arthur Fisher appears to have been an actor and the editor of this magazine, which ran for nearly 15 years before being sold to Doubleday. A Very Good copy with some minor rubbing to wrappers.

Los Angeles: Keep America Committee, 1959. Reprint. The author traces her health problems to a massive conspiracy by Jews to demineralize the food supply in order to mentally and physically destabilize the white race. A bizarre account first published in 1948 by Lyrl Clark van Hyning's "Women's Voice," the organ of her We, the Mothers Mobilize for America; this edition reprinted by Keep America Committee, the anti-Semitic, nationalist organization run by Mrs. Helen W. Courtois who was previously associated with the German-American Bund and the Aryan Bookstore. Small, stapled wrappers (7 ¼" x 4"), 44, [2] pp. A Fine copy. Just over half a dozen copies of any edition in OCLC.

St. Louis: Workers' Democracy, 1983. First edition. Eight uniform issues of this libertarian socialist newsletter published out of St. Louis from 1981-89. A useful source of information detailing labor struggles, solidarity campaigns and other Left labor tendencies. All issues Very Good or better; a few with mailing labels of Libertarian Left Review.

Dover, N. H.: George J. Foster & Co, 1927. First edition. 12mo. Green buckram boards with gilt to front board & spine; 232 pp.; frontis; dust jacket. Two stories, one concerning a medical student's life in a Medical College and the other "a tale of love and adventure laid in the anti-Masonic days of 1835." A Near Fine, slightly dust-soiled, copy in a VG+ dust jacket, which is rubbed and has a few nicks and closed tears to jacket edges.

Reprinted from the American Jewish Year Book, Fleischman, coordinator of race-relations activities and director of the National Labor Service of the AJC, surveys the state of civil rights in 1965, including the Watts riot and briefly details the activities of CORE, SCLC, NAACP, SNCC, and the National Urban League, as well as white-black coalitions and the rise of black power. He also discusses the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the desegregation of schools, various polls on race relations, the state race legislation, the war on poverty and the role of religious groups and labor organizations. Cloth is rubbed; very dulled gilt to spine; bumped corners; some light dampstaining to a few page corners not affecting text; pgs. 23-24 missing very small chunk from corner. A solid Good+ copy despite the age-inevitable flaws. The author was a Swedish novelist and manages here to "weave a pleasing and instructive story from the incidents which would transpire during a single year of matrimony," but "without trespassing upon the bounds of delicacy." She was the most widely read Swedish novelist of her time. Scarce in the trade and only ten copies of the first U.S. edition found in OCLC.

London: North London Branch, National Secular Society, 1965. First edition thus. Stapled wrappers (5" x 8"), [32] pp. Top corner bumped, about Fine. Five copies in WorldCat institutions. Following their highly successful publication of "The Crimes of the Popes," an excerpted chapter from Foote and Wheeler's "The Crimes of Christianity," the North London Branch of the National Secular Society in London published this excerpted chapter, "Pious Frauds," in facsimile from the same work. Includes a preface by F. A. Ridley of the Society.

(19 cm). 1/2 leather, 1/2 textured paper with gilt-stamped spine and five raised bands; top edge gilt; xv, [1], [2], 3-342 pp. INSCRIBED by the author on the dedication page to John Haynes Holmes who provides the introduction. A novel about the "horrors of the opium habit in the Far East, the responsibility for these horrors of western imperialism and the growing enslavement of our own world to a traffic which has long since subdued the world of India and China." The author was a wealthy socialite who mainly wrote children's books. Holmes was the pastor of The Community Church, NYC, a founding member of both the NAACP and ACLU, and a tireless social reformer. Rubbing along the joints; corners worn and rounded; Holmes' bookplate to front pastedown.

Belmont, Massachusetts: American Opinion, 1969. A reprint by the John Birch Society of James Forman's controversial Black Manifesto first presented at the National Black Economic Development Conference held in Detroit in April, 1969. A month later Forman barged into Riverside Church in NYC, took over the microphone and read the manifesto, which demanded $500 million (later raised to $3 billion) from Christian churches and Jewish synagogues in reparations for slavery and the continued oppression of the Black community. This horrified organizations such as the John Birch Society, which eagerly reprinted the manifesto verbatim to demonstrate how militant the civil rights movement had become.
