It comes from the estate of a close friend of Delderfield, and I have various other Delderfield items yet to be catalogued. The typescript comprises three hand-corrected volumes, bound in blue paper with red spine, on American Letter Size paper. Each volume has a typed title pasted to front cover: THE AVENUE GOES TO WAR by R F DELDERFIELD. Each volume also has a handwritten title: MASTER COPY, VOL.1, VOL. 2, and VOL. 3.
