The collection consist mainly of "corner stones" of scientific literature and book production. Including also is one of the finest collection of Sigmund Freud publications, many of the with Freud's authograph dedications. All lot (nearly 2500) are veyr carefully described with detailed learned and bibliographical annotations, as well as numerous cross-references and many fine illustrations. The late Dr.Grendel was a well-known pharmacist , bookcollector and historian of pharmacy.

Original blue cloth. ¶ Originally issued as a series of papers by the Glasgow Archaeological Society between 1882 to 1913, this other great work by Ferguson contains a wealth of bibliographical information of rare and early books related to the history of science, occult sciences, and alchemy. - A good copy in first edition of Ferguson's inmortal Bibliotheca Chemica is available too, please aply.

A fine copy, profusely illustrated: 96 figured of rifles and sporting guns, 32 figures of revolvers and 2 others. The Liége area, through the history, is renown for there many master armourers and gunsmiths, but except for the FN factory, they are disappeared. The MLA (1866-1929) wastt The only manufactory that produce hunting rifles with barrels marked “Acier universel”.

With some figures and 5 charming coloured tinted wood-engraved plates (loosely inserted). ¶ The rare first English edition of Grande Pharmacie Finck & A La Croix Rouge's "Guide Médical...". Including a price list of patent medicines, perfumery, proprietary articles, etc. and several leaves of advertisements for Finck's "specialities". The tinted 5 plates are of particular interest, besides the printing process (tinted zincography), they show the wonderful interiors of Geneva's most famous pharmacy store of the 19th century.
