Philadelphia: W. B. Saunders, 1965 280 pages, top front corner bumped otherwise near fine.

London: Longmans Green and Co., 1892 Two volumes, a few rubbed edges to cloth, still an attractive set with many black and white illustrations, some very minor light pencil markings.

New York: Harper & Bros., 1880 469 pages and 2 pages of ads from the publisher. The book is quite sound with some light wear to the boards, stain from old newspaper article on pages 64/ 65, light foxing.

Leipzig: Paul List 158 pages, plus five pages of adverts. A really neat binding with a green embossed beetle. Silk marker. Red edged all around. Quite decorative, not sure if first, no date.

Boston: Joseph Armstrong, 1899 663 pages, exlibrary but solid and attractive brown buckrum. It is stated S. G. Messmer from Rev. Dom Mill Sheboygan, Wis. The book was donated by Archbishop Messmer as indicated by a stamp on the title page.

Self Published, 1985 72 pages, this memoir created for the 40th anniversary of V-E Day, paper boards show minor soiling. Scarce.

Washington D.C.: United States Department of Agriculture, 1927 72 pages, nice little booklet on the forest for the Environmental Ed. or Biology Teacher. Illustrated with maps and photographs. Also included with this book is 32 page Bibliography of Tree Identification 1952 by William Dayton, published by the USDA. Shows wear, but good reference material.
