A collection of 18 short stories for children, in addition to those included in the title there are; Old Poz, The Orphans, The Basket-Woman, Forgive And Forget, The Brecelets, The Little Meerchant, and nine more. There is a short tear on the front paste down page, about 1/2 inch long at the top corner near the gutter. At some point a former owner had taped the dust jacket to the book, so there is tape residue marks on the front and back paste down pages. Some fading to the spine, and what looks like a finger print smudge on the front board. The binding is tight and square, even with that tear on the paste down.
