Badger Boston Summer 1912 1st ed as such 9 5/8 x 7 1/2", pp. 161-224, Ech‚garay's play first appeared in Spanish in 1877 under the title "O Locura o santidad". Here it appears in English for the, first time, translated by Ruth Lansing. Also included in this volume is a translation of "Kanawa, A Crown of Iron Spikes", a classical Japanese drama [3 pages] attributed to Motokiyo (who died in 1455), the most celebrated of the Japanese lyric dramatists.
