Short quarto format, unopened top edges, 290 pp., and illustrated profusely with various ornaments in red and black and printed on extra heavy paper. Gilt ornament on front cover, quite nice, appearing to be a sword stabbing downward, into and through a handsomely bound book, and with the Latin term Noi Leggeuamo. The binding is a brown linen cloth over text-block, some splitting of thin fabric along joints, but still remarkably sturdy, and with some brown cloth ties sewn in front and rear with which to tie fore-edge closed.
