London: George Allen, 1913 A volume of papers dealing with Alexander Pope, Lady Mary Wortley and Horace Walpole amongst others who all belong to Twickenham situated as it is half way between the two Courts of Richmond and Hampton Court. 402pp with b/w plates. Some light foxing fore and aft otherwise very good throughout.

London: Adam & Charles Black, 1897 188pp extensively illustrated with Phil Mays observant pen and ink drawings. A further 32pp of advertising at the rear. Spine lightly tanned. Lower internal hinge cracked otherwise very good.

Aldershot: Gale & Polden Undated circa early '20s. Recently library bound in buckram. 224pp including index, with halftone plates and twelve folding maps, four of which are loose as called for.

Kendal: World Ship Society, 1982 Irish neutrality in the Second World War, left Eire, dependent on British shipping, in a difficult position. During March 1941 a new shipping company started operations with an obsolete collection of ships. 56pp plus covers, illustrated in black and white.

London: Jarrolds, 1932 Being the experiences of a London journalist in the early 20th century. Dip into this book and its difficult to put down. 286pp with some good b/w plates. The author also had a best seller with The Secrets of Houdini in 1931.

Three quarter calf with marbled boards recently rebacked with the original spine relaid. A good copy.

Recently rebound in red Morocco with raised bands and marbled boards. . Half Morocco, Marbled Boards. Very Good. 225x140mm.

It would abolish patronage and banish privilege. For the rule of the few, it would substitute the responsibility of the many. Thiis book shows what really happened, in one county - Cambridgeshire. 106 pages with b/w illustrations.

Peoria, Illinois: The Manual Arts Press, 1945 200pp illustrated in black and white. Whilst some of the project images may appear a little quaint the hand craft techniques for projects in wood don't change and in that respect this book is a fund of information.
The cover title is faded but internally this book is very good plus.
