Franklin Library, 1975. Limited edition with the original Tenniel illustrations. A most attractive edition bound in full leather with gilt decoration and an illustration to both boards, gilt edges, silk effect endpapers. Fine condition.

London, Chapman, 1967, 4to, pp. xii, 172, many illustrations including two in colour. Dust jacket with repairs and price-clipped, but complete and the book is in very sound condition. Jacket now in a loose protective sleeve.

Very good in the original cloth and the scarce dust jacket which is a little rubbed and chipped in places, but very acceptable and now in a loose protective sleeve. The uncommon first edition of this important work.

Manchester University Press,1904, first edition,pp.vii, 309. A few small marks to the front cover, head and tail of spine a bit bumped, but very sound in the original cloth. Stamp of the Free Trade Union on the front endpaper, but no other marks. Includes a useful and detailed bibliography.

Chetham Society, New Series, Vol 95. Ireby is a small Manor in the extreme North-East of Lancashire. Pedigrees are given of the local familes including Claughton,Stockdale,Redmayne,Foxcroft, Yeats, and Tatham. Scarce, as membership of the society was at a low ebb at this time.

Manchester,Chetham Society,1888, small 4to,pp.x,88 plus report and list of members.Volume 13 of the New Series of Chetham Society publications. Small oval stamp on front endpaper, but a very good copy in the original cloth. Worthington published a translation of " De Imitatione Christi "in 1654.

Foulsham, 1933. New edition, pp. (16), 429. Original cloth, foding map and very many photographic illustrations. A trifle dusty, short tear and chip in the margin of the last four leaves, but a nice copy. This last edition of Windmill Land is rather scarce and is a useful edition as it comprises the whole of the original Part 1, most of Part II plus additions and a new prologue and epilogue.
