Front and back are 3/4 leather with marble and all edges are gilt. Marble endpages. Tiny wear to the top of spine in front. 3/4 Leather and Cloth (AEG). Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

New York: Anderson Galleries, 1917. This is a red leather edition of this famous book. The Front cover has separated from the spine but is still attached. Can be repaired = otherwise a beautiful full red leather book with gilt lettering a gilt illustrtion on front cover of a farmer and an indian with the eage on a globe wityh the symbol of the city with beavers and barrels. 381 pages with illustrations (95 pages are indicated). Some tears on the front blank endpages. Priced accoring to the front cover condition.. 1st Edition, Privately Printed. Full Red Leather. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Long.

The book is 373 pages with over 40 illustrations including one map. the dust jacket has a water stain but the stain is not on the book. The DJ is in a protective cover. Some of the contents: who first founded new york, when the history of new york begins; a glance at stuyvesant; the english rule new york, pastimes in early new york, broadway, england and france, george washington, the american revolution, streets and schools, the romantic hudson, the erie canal, when new york burned plus much more. . Florence: Giulio Giannini & Son, 1923. This is a small booklet of 42 pages with some wonderfull illustrations and a great introduction of Sims. In it he mentions that Rossetti stated that Browning had an understanding and knowledge of early italian art that surpassed Ruskin's at the time. There are notes at the end of the poem itself. Browning expresses his love of the Renaissance period. Some have felt that this poem might reflect his own thoughts of his works being lost someday. The Booklet has a yellow and blue starburst decorated cover - with a tear at the top of the booklet. The interior is fine except for natural aging. A nice little find for Browning lovers or those who love Florence, italy.. Decorative Paper. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
