First Edition. 448 pages of color artwork reproducing Stephen King's original paperback and hardback covers of the many editions of his books. 600 reproductions in all. An oversized book measuring 11 x 15. The notes on the artwork by George Beahm, with an introduction by Frank Darabont. Artists include Bernie Wrightson, Michael Whelan, J.K. Potter, Don Maitz, Dave McKean, and others. Still in the original shrinkwrap, there is a 2" circular tear in the shrinkwrap, but the book has never been opened. One corner just bumped, as how I received it. As new unopened copy, in slipcase.

This, "Ace Doubly" presented book, turn it over, and right-side up for, ESCAPE FROM KATHMANDU by Kim Stanley Robinson, features two Langdon St. Ives stories, by the clever and engaging James P. Blaylock, TWO VIEWS OF A CAVE PAINTING, and THE IDOL'S EYE. Signed x 4, including Blaylock, and Robinson; introducors, Tim Powers and Dean Koontz. Slight aging to spine, and at d.j. extremeties,, else fine in d.j.

Of a total edition of 1010 copies, this being one of the 310 deemed SPECIAL EDITION, which is NUMBERED, SIGNED & SLIPCASED and bound in CLOTH not paper over boards as is the TRADE EDITION. SIGNED by the author, illustrator, and authors Tim Powers and K.W. Jeter who both wrote afterwardsTHE PIGS HAVE ALL GONE TO FRANCE and THE INVISIBLE BOOK which were not included in the trade edition. This was printed before the British papers started going to hell and the paper is white. Additional scans available upon request.

Northridge, California: Lord John Press, 1979. First Edition. Ten poems, forty-three pages of poetry, by the legendary fantasy fictioneer. Bradbury was a very approachable, emotional, amusing and always engaging poet. Limited to 375 copies, this is one of the 300 signed by the author. A Fine Press book, printed by the noted, Grant Dahlstrom. As new. Issued w/o d.j.

N.Y.: Knopf, 1983. [First edition, thus]. A presentation edition for the author, especially prepared by the publisher. I have heard this special binding with all gilt page edges, was issued in an edition of 60 to 75 copies. I was told, 60 copies. Regardless, it is one of the authors scarcest editions. This issuance coincided with the 1983 release of the movie. A 1/4 thin scratch to upper d.j., edge,else an as new unread copy in like d.j.

Santa Barbara, Calif.: Capra Press, 1973. First Edition. Teo essays expounding Bradbury's enthusiasim for writing, entitled, 'Zen and the Art of Writing,' and 'The Joy of Writing. A chapbook-sized book of over forty pages, bound in stiff paper covers. A fine copy.

New York: Knopf, 1988. First Edition. Twenty-three previously uncollected tales. Signed by the author, the month, and year of publication. A fine unread copy in d.j.

[Glendale, CA.]: Roy A. Squires,, 1974. First Printing. This was the 24th booklet printed by Roy A. Squires, by hand from handset types, handsewn with silk thread. One page of introduction by the author followed by a five-page poem. Bradbury and Squires were life-time buddies, and Bradbury would graciously allow Squires to print his poetry & plays for next to nothing. 400 numbered copies, this is copy 57. Handsomely printed upon Nideggen mouldmade paper. Fine.

[Glendale, CA]: Roy A Squires, 1979. First Edition. The first publication of this lost Martian Chronicle story. Published in an edition limited to 230 signed, numbered copies, this copy is additionally signed by the artist Andrew Smith. Lovely find press booklet, printed from handset types upon handmade papers. The penultimate publication by Squires before his Bibliography. A fine copy in d.j.

Sauk City: Arkham House, 1973. [First Edition}. Eighteen stories from the '60-s-70's, an accompanying volume to NINE HORRORS AND A DREAM, his first Arkham House book. This being one of the "Author's Edition," created by Brennan, signed, and limited to numbered 100 copies. Fine in d.j.

Prairie City, Illinois: The Decker Press, 1950. [First Edition]. The author's first book includes Crazy Horse, Custer, Cochise, and Billy The Kid, as subjects of his poetry. Brennan was a poet before fictioneer, and remained a poet up until his death. Presentation copy, inscribed and signed from the author, and also signed by the author's wife Doris Phildrick, who was also a poet, "To our friend R. Dixon Smith. December 6, 1986." The Decker Press was the private press of James A. Decker, which specialized in printing poetry. A Fine-Very Fine copy, in like d.j.
