Worn: Covers with edge wear including nicks, creasing, small losses, & a tear (now repaired on the verso with archival tissue), gilt dull, soiled (internally & externally), scuffs on the verso of the front cover adjacent to the first blank page, staples rusted, still a useful copy. Apparently Belle Braswell's copy (Addye Belle Braswell Moon} with her signature on the first blank page. Additionally includes dozens & dozens of autographs, many with sentiments, from classmates & faculty.

Beam, two double page maps, & a list of passenger representatives for the railroad. OCLC finds 9 copies under four accession numbers, some with variations in date & pagination.

George Lyle Beam was the official photographer for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad as of 1905. Many of his photos of Mesa Verde Native American dwellings were published in a 1909 issue of National Geographic.

Laid in is a 16 page catalog (4to, stapled paper wraps) from the Vorpal Gallery providing further illustrations of the artist's work, & a mechanically reproduced typed letter on Vorpal letterhead regarding "Piet Bekaert Commission."
Trace of sunning in the upper margins, otherwise fine in about fine jacket with a tiny scuff on the front panel.
A wonderful survey of the impressionist art of Piet Bekaert, accompanied by his poignant poetry. The artist passed away in 2000.
