Aarhus is the second largest city In Denmark and Aarhus Oliefabrik [which still exists in 2014! ] is a large oil manufacturing company located there. A detailed statistical and economic analysis leads the author to conclude that payments made by the company into city accounted for more than 10% of the city's income in 1937.
