Fair. I feel that the scans look rather better than the book actually looks. Generally clean, [but not pristine] sound copy. No name or markings noted. However, has a LOT of corner/tip wear to both front covers and text.

Hardcover. Fair. Nice, attractive first edition of an extremely rare book. Cover shows some minor ink staining in one spot plus some moderate wear especially on the spine ends and corners, but the book is generally solid. The binding has started to separate slightly between the flyleaf and title page. Some pencil notes and underling throughout as well as former owner's information on the inside cover and the flyleaf. A printed description of the book is pasted inside the back cover. No dust jacket.

Fair. 1892 [assuming NOT a first, as original copyright is 1888] Minimally tanned. No name or other markings noted. Book is generally in nice shape for its age, but does have wear through or bits of bug damage on the edges, as well as just some normal color loss from edge wear. Cover has some light rubbing and a couple of small stains on back.

Fair. Green spiral bound. Part of copyright page is missing. Can see part of the word "revised" and the ISBN matches, exact date is not there, though. Book has what appears to be a piece of double sided [super strong, I might add] tape on the front, that had white paper stuck to the top side. Back has rubbing. Tip wear with creasing. Includes two stapled, mimeographed [?] groups of papers dealing with types of paints and their various effects. Spiral is in good shape, and so is spiral edge of book. Body of text is clean. No name or markings noted. Main issue is the missing part of details page and tape on front cover.

Light general wear, with tag shadow on front cover. Transfers are find, but they have left acid stains on the inside of the covers and on the regular pages.

Unknown Binding. Good. Book Club Edition. Good, solid copy with clean, unmarked pages. The dust jacket shows a fair amount of wear but is still very much intact. The spine has a moderate tilt to it.

Mass Market Paperback. Fair. Good, solid reading copy. Rated acceptable mainly due to some moisture staining that occasionally extends into a few words of the text on some pages but that is mainly contained in the margins.
