The front jacket cover has a pictorial label of illustration of Dorothy, the Tin Man, Coawardly Lion and Scarecrow on it. The book itself is green, hardback, has the "The Road To Oz" title with the mule and Emerald City in the background as well as Ozma and Dorothy face to face on the rear boards. The jacket shows the Wizard of Oz witht the piglets and Dorothy set agaist a gold background. The front board of the book is similar. The spine on the dust jacket has the lettering "Dorothy and The Wizard in Oz" running vertically as well as the author's name and illustrator's name. The same occurs in the spine on the book's binding. The numbering sequence starts with "1" making this the first facsimile edition of this type, no longer availalbe in stores. The jacket is a facsimile of the FIRST issue published by Reilly & Britton Company. The jacket was restored by artist John Anthony Miller and archival ink and special paper were used. Jacket comes trimmed and enclosed in a mylar jacket protector, ready to put on the book. As in all our facsimile dust jackets, the verso of the jacket has an affixed label, stating such, signed by the artist-restorer John Anthony Miller.
